MISSIONS MINISTRY

If one thing is clear in Scripture, it is this: God is a missionary God. His desire to bless the nations is a thread that is woven from Genesis to Revelation. And if we were to ask for just one proof of this, we need only look to Jesus.

Operation Christmas Child

Through Operation Christmas Child, you can deliver the Christmas message to children around the world, along with a box of simple gifts which will bring much joy to the lives of those who receive them.

We have set up our OCC shoebox table in the Atrium with shoeboxes and brochures. Packed boxes need to be returned to the Atrium by Sunday, November 8.

If you would like to donate toward shipping costs for the boxes, please make your check payable to First Presbyterian Church, noting OCC on the memo line.

If you have any questions, please contact Holly Edwards at (803) 799-9062, ext. 242.

Each week, we pray for our missionaries through our PrayerConnect or CenterPoint prayer ministries. If you are unable to attend these meetings but would like to know how to pray for our missionaries on an ongoing basis, please sign up below to receive a weekly e-mail with current prayer requests.

Helping the Churches of Rwanda: Medical and Construction Mission Trips

During the summer of 2025, due to First Presbyterian Church's generous Easter Offering Initiative, we were able to send two mission trips to Rwanda in order to provide medical, construction, and spiritual support to our brothers and sisters living there. We are so thankful for everyone who contributed and all who participated in the planning, production, and service on these trips.
