Thornwell Lectures

 

These lectures, named in honor of James Henley Thornwell, one of the most distinguished theologians of the South as well as minister of First Presbyterian Church, are given each Sunday during the months of June, July and August.

Over the past few summers we have touched on a variety of themes related to the life of the Christian Church.  The theme for the summer of 2010 is "Church Planting: Stories from the Field."

The lectures take place from 10:00 - 10:50 a.m. in the Family Life Center (church campus map).
