Music theory, Sight-singing, and Rehearsal Wednesdays 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Palmer Bulding, Room 110
In the Youth Chorus, seventh grade through high school students continue to develop the musical, vocal, and choral skills taught in the children’s choirs. An emphasis is placed on vocal technique, sight-singing, and choral disciplines. The choir sings mostly three-part repertoire (SAB) and joins the Chancel Choir for special concerts and occasions. Choir members will also have solo and small ensemble opportunities.
All high school students participating in the Youth Chorus have the opportunity to receive free private vocal lessons from Dr. Bonnie Lynch, Dr. Daniel Cole, Mrs. Holly Cole, or Mr. Mark Bischoff. To sign up to be a part of the Vocal Lessons Program, complete the following registration.
